I was a girl drummer and loved it. I have many memories from
the band days and several pictures and videos from the old marching
band parade days.

I loved being in band and all the friends I made through it.
The trips and solo competitions were the best. Marching in parades
was the worst!

One of the most memorable moments from band would have to be
the trip to Washington DC during the 50th Anniversary of D-Day.
Playing in front of the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, and at
the Pentagon were highlights of my 4 years of band.

I went to TJ from 1993-1997. I played in the TJ band. I currently
work at Wilson Junior High and I am still playing my clarinet
everynow and then I get the time. I remember when we went to Washington
D.C., I was a freshman at the time. The students one night in
the hotel decided to have a toga fashion show in the hallways.
The gentlemen would come out of their rooms using the sheets from
the bed and walk the hallway as we all sat on the floor outside
our rooms while they walked the "hotel runway". It was
hilarious. We had so much fun in band. I will never forget the
memories I had in band as I grow older. It was good times that
I still miss today. Band was a wonderful experience and you never
quit playing your instrument.

I loved being in band, everything from football and basketball
games to the trips we took! We were like family...the good and
bad that comes with that. :)

I remember moving out to CB from Denver half way through my
sophmore year. Everyone in band took me in and I created friends
that I still have to this day!
